I'm trying to patch the DVMT pre-alloc, but the Universal IFR Extractor.exe tool crashes when trying to write out the text file (so I can get the variable name for DVMT pre-alloc). Does anybody have the proper variable name for Acer AN515-53 v. 1.19 BIOS so I can patch the DVMT pre-alloc?

Hi, thank you for your Guide, but I have trouble in the beginning.
I had extract the bios.exe and get a lot of datas. 3 of them were .exes, but winter couldn't extract these. So I get no .fd data or something similar. I tried to load all the datas in phoenix, but it didn't work.
I don't know what I should do know?
I have a Lenovo Laptop Y50/Y70 and I uploaded my bios.
Maybe you could help me with this?
Thank you very much and sorry for my bad english,
July

Okay. I was able to Do this, but it freezes while starting and the Apple is loading.

Maybe IT is because I have installer OSX first and changed dvmt prealloced later?
Would it help to Start in Windows and is this even possible anymore? I have an other hdd where my old Windows is, but I don't know if I can Boot IT?

Is there a solution to Start my OSX??

Edit: I reinstalled Windows and it works. Thank you for this guide

I just wanted to point out something:

When changing the variable the BIOS should be set to UEFI and Security Disabled not Legacy, since Legacy won't see the EFI files and it won't show a bootable device.
