[Guide] Broadwell HD5500 Setting DVMT in InsydeH20 BIOS Laptops

I couldn't find any file with the extension .fn!! is it possible that it is another one with a different extension on hp laptops?
On HP laptops you have to extract the BIOS ROM from the .bin file. You just have to run the .exe you download from the HP support and on the instalation process select the 3rd option who says "Copy the BIOS image to any file location", so u can get the .bin file to extract it with Phoenixtool as the guide says.

followed the steps for the DVTM pre allocation patch this is what I get : I don't see an option for 128.. I thought for qhd displays it had to be 128

No option for 128 there.
64mb is adequate.

You are not running the special UEFI shell.
You are running DOS.

The UEFI shell, not surprisingly, is only available when booting UEFI.

DMVT-prealloc should be set 64mb.

My 2 cents correction to Lenovo Yoga 500 15IBD. Use other method to unlock hidden bios tabs and set all dvmt to max.View attachment 230843

Hello friend tell me Could You share your patch file to Intel HD5500? I unlocked my BIOS and changed to 64 MB DVMT but graphics doesn't works.

Can you remove the wifi whitelist ? What Wifi card are you using?

This is the modifications that I have into my BIOS

- whitelist removal -
- Unblocked advanced menu +
- Unblocked AES MSR 0xE2

And my Wifi Card is Qualcom QCNFA34AC, and about put DVMT to maximum size I tell you. First I set to 0 MB and doesn't works. My laptop doesn't show display image but turn on and I have to flash again, after that I set to 64, 96 and 128 and Kernel panic. Now I set Aperture Size to 1024 MB and laptop doesn't show display image again, I think that I need to flash one more time because It turn on normal mode but whithout image and I'll do it late because is midnite here.
