[Guide] Broadwell HD5500 Setting DVMT in InsydeH20 BIOS Laptops

I have almost similar machine and same bios. Used Unibeast http://www.tonymacx86.com/el-capita...-capitan-any-supported-intel-based-pc-94.html , disable secure boot and only added OS-X-Voodoo-PS2-Controller kext and rest at default and successfully install.
Changing DVMT has no effect on installation itself.

Redone following your guide step by step and from scratch on another USB stick with no luck. I didn't use Unibeast this time, but I did use your config_HD5300_5500_5600_6000.plist. Clover 3411 with the suggested options. Boot in grub to setup_var and the reboot with

Still "Couldn't allocate runtime area" or sometimes cache error even choosing to ignore cache.

Keep reading.

Boot verbose, show photo. Post EFI/Clover folder as ZIP (omit 'themes' folder).

I finally booted the installer.

I need anyway the setup_var business (do not know right now in which way to issue that string on booting from internal HD, besides using the efi shell usb stick every time) otherwise the usual "Couldn't allocate runtime area" error.
It boots with all the "++++++..." but suddenly it start the OS X booting process.

I did use RehabMan config_HD5300_5500_5600_6000.plist and added to drivers64UEFI HFSPlus.efi , since at least for me Unibeast 6.1.1 did not install it and naturally no disks at boot.

I have added besides Unibeast default kexts, RehabMan Voodoo-2015-1229, Generic-USB3-2015-1215 and FakeSMC-2015-1230.
Whitout Generic-USB3 no built in mouse.
Booted with no caches.

I did install successfully and now I need to work out dimmed display issue, wireless and no working audio. Probably something else.
The dimmed display is a major one: really really dark.


But anyway what an improvement for me!!!

If needed i can post my EFI folder but I think it is not so important.

If you want me I'll redo it all the steps but I did have used the USB stick following aliraja suggestions (which as you can see from my previous post it is working) and scratch it.
