[Guide] Booting The USB Installer Using OpenCore

@Feartech ,, this was a due to some improper/not so good connection of an FPC that connects MOBO with sata controllers.
Now I got the installation done successfully.. trying to upgrade to Big Sur. :headbang:
Fantastic! :)

@Feartech
I already have a working HP Desktop 600 G2 with Catalina,
Now going to try on a HP Zbook 17 G5 i7 Laptop, which config.plist do you suggest.
And using your method ( On Windows ) is it best to do it right on the Laptop to be installed.

Cheers

Thank you Sir,
will let everyone know how it works out.

Success! MacOS Big Sur on Asus Vivobook (Kaby Lake).
Installed Catalina with OC (0.6.3) using this guide and then updated directly to Big Sur. Sleep-Wake, Battery, Fn keys, HD Graphics 620- everything is working near perfect (except: Card reader, Fn keys for brightness, HDMI audio).
Can anyone tell me if patching DSDT is needed in OC method?
