Hello,

I have HP Elitebook 8460p with
  • Intel Core i5 2520M @ 2,50GHz
  • 8GB Ram
  • 250GB HDD
  • Intel HD Graphics 3000
i followed the Guide. When i will boot from USB to Install macOS Sierra then comes the attached Image.
I downloaded the config_HD3000_1600x900.plist and renamed it to config.plist.

Can anyone help me to install macOS Sierra?

Getting the following error after trying to boot Mojave installer.
I do not know what I am doing wrong. Any idea? Thanks.

Hi, Rehabman. Thanks you for this guide. I have a little question: do we still need SSDT-SATA + SAT0 rename if SATA-unsupported.kext(https://github.com/RehabMan/hack-tools/tree/master/kexts/SATA-unsupported.kext/Contents) is installed?

SATA-unsupported.kext is a better solution than SSDT-SATA. Mainly because it will work for using your USB to boot your fully installed partition (that has FakeSMC.kext installed on it) in the case you make a mistake with your HDD/SSD EFI/Clover.

First of all, thanks for the guide, I got Mojave installed following it. The problem is that I cannot actually use it cause every time I get this grey screen that if I press ESC (or spacebar) suddenly appears the login screen.
Mi laptop is Dell Inspiron 5748 with 4K display, 5th gen i7 5500U, and 256GB SSD.
(In the .zip is the video of the problem)

Hi @RehabMan ,

I've been following this guide for installing Mojave but got stuck on the last phase of the installation process when finally booting from the installed drive and before entering the desktop. I used the MBR option of two partitions on the USB "Clover UEFI" and based generally on t44p guide: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-lenovo-thinkpad-t440p.233282. I got the verbose mode enabled but before restarting it goes too fast and all I can read is the last bit "Attempting to restart". Not sure what steps to follow in order to debug properly.

Here is an image just before it goes into does that ultra fast text:

Using Clover 4701

Is because of the APFS conversion issue?

Thanks a lot
