[GUIDE] Booting the OS X installer on LAPTOPS with Clover UEFI

@rehabman
your mavericks install partition cli rename instructions are borked. They ref Yosemite NOT Mavericks, some users will overlook that(and yes I'm editing how I wrote this response).

[EDIT]
Still having my own problems, but the above refers to the createinstallmedia section wrt Mavericks. The part rename refers to Yosemite when it should refer to Mavericks.
[/EDIT]
Thanks. Minor typo fixed.

Hi sir,

I followed your guide to create a bootable Pen drive. I selected "Boot OS X Yosemite - Verberose". But, it gets struck at a particular point of time. I have attached the screenshot of the struck screen. I have followed everything what you said. I am newbie to installing Mac.

Please help me out. Thanks in advance :)

What is your disk configuration? There is something funny going on with disk2 (something I've never seen before). Which disk is that? What is on it? You can boot into single user mode, and check output of "diskutil list"

The detailed info of my hdd are:
1. It is formatted as gpt
2. It has 8 partitions
3. One of the partition is encrypted with bit locker
4. One of the partition is formatted as ext4 and has ubuntu
5. It also has Windows 8.1 (I have 2 operating systems)
6. My hdd has 750gb capacity

I'm ready to lose all data in it. I have backed up all data. I'll update my post after running it in single user mode

Thanks,
SilleBille

You should probably clean the disk completely. Remove all partitions from it and start over (you can use the 'clean' command in DISKPART.EXE on Windows... usually done in the WinRE).

Sir, do you mean delete all partitions except Windows and try booting again?

You could try that (it might help). But I was suggesting you start with a clean slate...

You could always install a expendable HDD in the event you want to keep what you have...

Actually I formatted it. But, I went to Ubuntu and from the utility I deleted all partitions except the Ubuntu. Now I'm getting the following output. IMG_20141204_084519.jpg
Running in single user mode gave output as

What should I do now?
Thanks,
