    APFS is something you can try and if it seems to cause problems, use HFS+J instead.

    How long does the no-convert script take to run. I just ran it on a fresh install, and it been 15 minutes and it’s still running. What the heck is it doing?

    Oh my, it’s doing a find for everything in volumes. That means it’s searchng the home dir. ok. Now i see what’s its going, and I will just do it manually.

    What are you referring to? Post #1 makes no mention of any "no-convert" script.

    No. Conversion is only when you're running the full installer.
