Will this work with Zenbook UX303L too? (Intel Core i7-5500U, Intel HD 5500, Intel Wifi changed to DW-1830 AC Wireless/BT)
There is a old guide in which all seems to work fine with older MacOS versions.
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-asus-zenbook-ux303la-broadwell-edition.172279/
Would it be better to start with installing El Captain and then Updating from within the system, or starting with High Sierra or even Mojave from the beginning?

Guide seems to be for KabyLake, not Broadwell.
From post #1:
Supported models:
- UX310 (KabyLake)
- UX330 (KabyLake) (not tested)
- UX330 (KabyLake-R)
- UX410 (KabyLake)
- UX430 (KabyLake)
- UX430 (KabyLake-R)

No "Problem Reporting" files attached.
Read FAQ, "Problem Reporting" again. Carefully. Attach all requested files/output.
https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/faq-read-first-laptop-frequent-questions.164990/
Use the gen_debug.sh tool mentioned in the FAQ, that way it is less likely you'll omit something.

(gen_debug.sh can be used off-line... read the README)

Hello guys.
- Trackpad has some minor bugs (random cursor jumping, etc.), but gestures are great

Is this problem still relevant? I installed on the guide, everything works, but there were problems with graphics. I decided to install everything myself, I decided to solve the graphics, but there were two problems: I could not adjust the keyboard backlight, as well as the touch pad has a jumping cursor. However, when installing through the github guide, there are no problems with the touchpad and keyboard backlighting, how to solve this problem?

@baohiep , what's the latest BIOS for your model? Have you updated yet?

Just update to 309 now
Stiil got problem with trackpad and battery drain
Wish I could help you with these. But you're ahead with being able to boot with 309. For me it causes a black screen. In your specs on the left I see your graphics as GTX 940mx. Is that the graphics your Zenbook runs on, or does it run on Intel graphics?

Alphonse99, can you zip up your EFI/Clover folder (minus themes and other irrelevant folders) + add your patchmatic output? I've attached 'patchmatic extract.zip' for that purpose. That might help me debug :) Thank you.

[EDIT] regarding trackpad: there is no official public compile of the latest changes yet, but you can try compile from https://github.com/alexandred/VoodooI2C if you have XCode. I myself have not looked into that yet.

no need for patchmatic output - zipped up EFI/Clover folder (minus themes and other irrelevant folders) would be enough :)
