Yes.

diskutil list shows me:

Then is lists my USB /dev/disk1 and a bunch of disk images /dev/disk3 to /dev/disk20. Those disk images range from +524.3KB to +12.6MB in size. Are they for the installer? Is this normal behaviour?

That looks ok.

Your EFI/Clover/kexts/Other is not correct (for example, HWMonitor.app is not kext, FakeSMC sensor kexts should not be there).
Whoops! Where should those go?

Nowhere.
Read the guide:

(the guide has an image of typical kexts/Other content)

Thank you, but I feel like I wasted your time and wasted mine.

It seems my install Mojave app can't even upgrade my iMac either so it's been a problem with the installer all along. I didn't suspect it because it was over 6 GB so I thought I had correctly gotten the full installer.

I downloaded a tool http://dosdude1.com/mojave/ to get and verify the installer. Now I was able to install macOS on my Asus laptop. This may not be the last time I post here however, as I still have work to do to get it running. Thanks again and wish me luck.

Is there a way that i can merge this into my DSDT ?

No "Problem Reporting" files attached.
Read FAQ, "Problem Reporting" again. Carefully. Attach all requested files/output.

Use the gen_debug.sh tool mentioned in the FAQ, that way it is less likely you'll omit something.

Also, please fix your profile as per FAQ.

Can not use ger_debug.sh

Will this work with Zenbook UX303L too? (Intel Core i7-5500U, Intel HD 5500, Intel Wifi changed to DW-1830 AC Wireless/BT)
There is a old guide in which all seems to work fine with older MacOS versions.

Would it be better to start with installing El Captain and then Updating from within the system, or starting with High Sierra or even Mojave from the beginning?
