I got an UX582 with screenpad and am working on the VoodooI2C source code for the screenpad. The screenpad works with one finger only (no multitouch gestures). If you want to get one and work on the source code for it, we can maybe get the multitouch gestures work. I just looked into the VoodooI2C source code; Ii may just be some modifications needed to get it fully work.

No, I have not got screenpad work with multitouch gestures. It only works with single point as a cursor with click function. Some modifications in VoodooI2C are needed to get it fully works.

Almost everything is working on this laptop except the keyboard backlight, numpad, Nvidia GPU (will never work), and most FN keys (e.g. fan control, trackpad disable, etc). Both screens, sounds (speaker, headphone, internal/external mics), and sleep/wake work. I am able to boot Big Sur and Catalina. The trackpad would stop functioning sometime, which is a known issue for months with the new ELAN trackpad and VoodooI2C. (I plan to work on the source code to fix this problem if I have time.) The brightness control with FN key control for both screens work; however, I'm using a workaround with the Lunar.app. Did you get the brightness control work?
