Thank you Toleda for your hard work! I found the solution for my Bluetooth and Wifi in your Repo collection on Github.

It is possible to try and update the firmware key of your device to a newer version.

That might or might not work, the firmware currently configured for your device has not been tested, so that could cause the issues you are experiencing.

The newest firmware key present at the moment which you can try is BCM20702A1_001.002.014.1483.1651_v5747.

If that does not work I will configure BCM20702A1_001.002.014.1443.1493.hex for your device, which is the Windows device specific firmware (v5589).

So test newest firmware by updating the firmware key for 04CA_200B and let me know the result.

I changed and loaded the firmware but it did not change

My guess is that you did not fully turn off the computer.

The previous firmware will stay in the Bluetooth USB until you either unplug it (in case of USB dongle) or shut down the machine fully.

Since a firmware is already present other than v4096, BrcmPatchRAM will not upload a new firmware image.

So shutdown the computer fully and check again.

I do this everytime I boot
i shut it down for a few Seconds And Boot it Then
you know that this is a Combo Card wifi+Bluetooth

Code:
sudo cat /var/log/system.log | grep -i brcm[fp]

That should show us what BrcmPatchRAM is loading into your device.

I have installed BCMPatchRAM.kext

I can see the version firmware has upgraded.

Bluetooth seems to be on but I can not discover a device or magic mouse.

I am also using toleda's kext for Wifi which is working.

What am I missing? If someone can point me in the right direction would be great.

How can I clear the Bluetooth device caches?

*Solved by rebuilding caches with DCPI manager*

Thank you the-darkvoid for your efforts with the BRCMPatchRAM.kext!

Works perfect with my 43b1 - BCM94352 HMB/AzureWave AW-CE123H, 2.4/5 GHz, ac+abgn, 2 stream, 867 Mbs + BT4LE card.

Notes:
  • Wifi is working properly
  • I believe the root of the problem is USB as also the Video camera for this laptop does not show any where .. same with the flash card reader, curiously enough the finger print scanner is detected
  • I tried booting with -gux_defer_usb2 but did see no improvements
  • /var/log/system/log shows :

Problem is with USB indeed. Try GenericXHCI.kext for USB, but I believe BIOS settings might be at fault.
