Also, if they are not compatible what is the best alternative for me?

I had the same issue with Azurewave AW-CE123H 802.11ac/nbg WiFi+BT Broadcom BCM94352 867Mbps Bluetooth 4.0. I was never able to make it work even in Mavericks. You can try this one and it worked for all my laptops: "NEW ACER M5-583P Broadcom WIFI CARD BCM94352HMB". Unfortunately, I have to disable Bluetooth enabler kext as it is not stable in 10.10 and causes kernel panics (not the hardware, but the enabler or even driver kext). May be one day they get it right on 10.10 and I will enable it, but at least it is working in 10.10 and works very well in 10.9.

[UPDATE] Just got refurb Netgear AC1450 and converted it to AC1750 (R6300v2) - BCM94352HMB locked on it with 867Mbps and it is blazingly fast, averaging 65-75MBs on 5GHz band.

I popped in the Atheros AR5BHB92 (9280) into my build tonight. Signal was weak at first, but I've moved the antenna from my Z87N-wifi mobo from behind my monitor and it now has full signal strength. However, I am pulling in dismal speeds, 2-2.5Mb/s, when my other devices are getting the correct 18-20Mb/s. Has anybody experienced extremely slow speeds with the 9280 and what did you do to fix it? It's not due to congestion on my network. There are only three devices connected at the moment.

*EDIT* Curious...I restarted while doing unrelated retheming of chameleon bootloader, and have now got speeds of almost 6Mb/s. I have not changed anything, and this isn't the first restart since installing the new card. Will follow up should the situation change. Would still like faster speeds on par with the rest of my wireless devices.

toleda..
Can't you help me with this Card BCM4359...

Hi there all

Well done on the great kexts and helpful info.

I have a BCM943352 card. Bluetooth and 5Ghz WiFi working great, but if I try to connect to a 2.4Ghz network I always get "Connection timeout" error.

Currently using Bluetooth Firmware Uploader and toledaARPT.kext.zip

Any ideas?

Thanks

I have an Atheros AR5b95 card that Yosemite is not recognizing connected. DPCIManager recognizes it and lists as 168c 002b.

I applied the toledaArpt.kext as suggested but nothing changes. If I apply the IO802011Family.kext The mac recognizes the card is connected and lists it's id properly but no networks are shown as available 2.4, 5, open and protected. Any help is much appreciated.
