Im glad it worked for you my man. I did not do anything special. Its about noting everything you do each step of the way and documenting your testing. Hats off to Toleda for starting this thread.

One thing I do have to say that the BT acts way better with the antenna from the Z87E-ITX from ASRock. I have not received my other antennas or my AC router so I can't say anything new about the Wifi.

Check this guide (requires Windows), only in Change Regdomain, point 2, select Germany instead of [DEBUG] [DB] [NO_ENUMRD]. Your current regdomain is probably set to 0x65 (APAC) and selecting Germany should set it to 0x37 (ETSI). I would suggest you to read the whole thread, because there are some gotchas you can find on pages 3-5.

I changed the Locale to ETSI, thanks to this guide it was very easy.

The problem is, that I still can't create an ad hoc network or I can't enable Internet Sharing over Wifi.

I am very frustrated.... Don't know what to do, because I really don't know what this error means. Is it my hardware, is it the software, who knows....

Did anyone successful enable Internet Sharing using 10.9 and AR9280 ????

Not correct. UEFI Clover reads the EFI folder in the EFI partition on GPT disks; it does not look at the EFI folder on an OS X partition.

What it be possible for you to see, if this works on your hack?

Please create a Wifi Ad Hoc Network or start Internet Sharing using Wifi for providing Internet Access to iPhone etc. (Ethernet connected to a DSL line for example)

Environment should be OSX 10.9 and AR9280.

I've just put in an Azurewave AW-NB290 card and activated the wifi using the Toleda wifi kext for mavericks and it works but i'm getting poor speed and disconnects. Any ideas why? Signal is showing as full. if i boot to windows it seems fine.

The problem is not smbios or the bootloader, likely a problem with Region and Country.
The system is macbookpro8,3 and latest Chimera.
