Hi !

I can't get my GTX 660 card recognized by CUDA.
I'm running yosemite 10.10.2 on an early 2008 macpro.
I'm currently using the latest Nvidia web drivers (343.02.02f02), and CUDA Driver Version: 6.5.45
but I tried many versions of CUDA, and actually I never managed to have it recognized.
(I also tried the cuda drivers that support SM1.x cards)

When I launch CudaZ, it tells me that I don't have any CUDA device installed.

Is there a device list I could patch somewhere to have it recognized ?

Thanks :)

I had this card working under yosemite 10.10.2 and it didn't need nvidia web drivers, it worked out of the box and CUDA also worked perfectly. Have you tried without nvidia drivers?

I had a gigabyte gtx 660 ti and also a gigabyte motherboard. To boot I only used
npci=x2000 kext-dev-mode=1
There was no need of GraphicsEnabler or nvidia web drivers.

Actually, I'm using a real apple macpro, and I tried with the official or web driver, and my card was NEVER recognized as a CUDA device.

now I'm having this really weird error, I can't boot on it anymore, and I get these errors :
Mar 3 20:25:12 shazam kernel[0]: NVDA::rmStart failed
Mar 3 20:25:12 shazam kernel[0]: NVDA,Display-B: Not usable

Mar 3 20:25:12 shazam.local WindowServer[191]: WSMachineUsesNewStyleMirroring: false

even though the same card works fine when I boot from a different drive.
