Hello, I am trying to build a machine to use for editing and rendering files using Final Cut Studio 3, CS5, etc... I have no issues with the system giving CUDA acceleration under CS5 or DaVinci software. But, I want to use Compressor to render out video files, but all the FCS3 programs say I need a Quartz Extreme Card. I can't figure out what isn't correct in the system.
Both the cards I have tried are EVGA models. GTX 260 (216 core) and GTX 470.
Things I have tried already.
Swapping out GTX 470 for old GTX 260.
Updated CUDA drivers.
Re-installed the nVidia patch under Multi-Beast.
Used the older nVidia patch from TonyMac's Blog.
So, far nothing has worked. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Oh, and I haven't updated to 10.7.3. I left the machine at 10.7 as it is running everything fine thus far.
