Took the risk and updated my main build to 10.10.4. Had to boot with nv_disable=1 after installing to install the 346.01.03b01 driver. Re-installed HDMIAudio.kext and and it is still working too.

Mine is detected but screen is black :C Im using integrated HD4600 for the moment. wtF?

I have a brand new X99/i7-5820k/GTX 980 ti build from weekend. I upgraded to 10.10.4 and new drivers and all seemed well. After a few reboots, I started getting black screen as well. I installed with SMBios MacPro5,1, patched to MacPro6,1. After black screen, reverted back to MacPro5,1 but no dice. I uninstalled/reinstalled Nvidia drivers, used all sorts of boot flags but nothing worked. As a hunch I tried changing SMBios to iMac14,2 and it worked.

TL;DR: Try iMac14,2 SMBios.

MacPro 4,1/5,1/6,1 and iMac15,1 are not recommended to use. I also use iMac14,2.

Well that worked, using iMac 14,2 now.

Thanks! I have tired changing the boot flags for a while now, without luck, and I wouldn't have tried changing my smbios to iMac14,2 if it weren't for you guys :) Even my vram is recognised correctly after updating :)

Mines installed perfectly. Question though... What would be the difference in going form 3,1 MacPro to iMac 14,2?

If 3,1 works for you then that's fine. 14,2 has more compatibility with newer hardware.
