Hey everyone,
I've just purchased a GTX 780 3GB Asus Reference Card and installed it without doing anything in my up5-th rig.
I noticed right away though that I wasn't getting any performance from the card while rendering in iMovie. So i went ahead and downloaded the web drivers and cuda versions from the nvidia support page.
After installing both, I still see no performance gains, and in fact, when benchmarking with cinebench I get 79fps, heaven 4.0 ultra settings : 43fps (with windows 7 ultra settings : 49fps). Luxmark does give me a decent 1313 score however.
Oddly enough, I have tried changing my mobo pcie from auto to gen3 and the cinebench scores dropped to 59fps and the heaven 4.0 dropped to 40.
My cuda control panel tells me an update is required, even though I'm on the most recent. I have also tried the 2 previous versions.
The GPU fan speed is still on 19rpm and the GPU voltage is 0.01.
I tried to change my clover boot.plist to inject nvidia and nvda_drv=1 but I was unable to boot, so I reset those values.
