Hi there
I built a perfect running hackintosh PC last year so that I could edit videos using Final Cut Pro X (im not a professional editor, and I love this software as its so easy to figure out)
At the time I had an ATI HD6670 Card which worked natively and ploughed through FCPX like butter
As I use Windows more for Music Making / Gaming I upgraded to a Gainward GTX 580 1.5gb and upgraded to Lion 10.7.4 so I could still run FCPX. However after installing the drivers and OpenCL injectors, I am finding performance in FCPX painfully slow, even though the card is a much higher spec?
I've tried googling this and don't seem to be finding any clear cut results, am I doing something wrong? At this rate im going to have to actively swap in the ATI everytime I want to edit videos, and swap back to the GTX for gaming in windows, which is just painful
Any help would be much appreciated
