Insanelymac's forums seem to have gotten some progress with fermi cards, but apparently it only works at low resolution. Hey, it's better than nothing, though. Right?
I did the following with my already set up 260 system, used my current install, but I have a 480 instead. Do you have another card you could install with then do the following?
1. install drivers using aquamacs installer (deselect sound kext in the installtion)
2. turn off computer
3. Took out GTX 260
4. plugged in GTX 480
5. booted up - resolution is not full
6. Generated GFX string
7. Put generated GFX string on my .plist
8. added graphics enabler line on my .plist
That's how I did it, but I already had an install with two GTX 260 cards. I'm not sure how to do it with a 470/480 initially, but I think there is a way.
I followed the instructions on the link in insanelymac. So my card is working full resolution and QE/CI but i think i have a really poor performance i am getting 7 fps in cinebench.
They seem really low.
Just want to know what are your results ???
Is there something i am missing to get better results???
