GTX 1070 vs Dual RX 580

I’ve had a GTX 1070 in my editing hack for a couple years now. I’ve become frustrated with the stability and now with no official driver support (yet), I think it’s time to move on. Has anyone had any success with running two RX 580s in Crossfire? I primarily use this machine for Premiere Pro and AME and I know both of these applications would use both cards.

Is there any difficulty in getting Crossfire working or is it purely plug and play?

Should I just stick with my 1070 and wait out new drivers?

I moved from 1060 to RX 570. No issues and my hack feels so much smoother than it did before. The process was simple. Switch to Apple graphics, remove the Nvida drivers then remove the 1060 and pop in the 570 and good to go. as for crossfire not sure. My case cant handle the dual cards like I had hoped.
