Grey screen with ghost image after sleep/wake up on whiskeylake laptop

Hi @RehabMan and everybody.

I am almost done with an Acer SF515-77 (8565u/uhd620) and almost ready to post a guide for the new SF515 and SF314 whiskey lake laptops.

Everything is working except I got a blackscreen with backlight after sleep (a dark grey screen, sometimes i almost see like an faded image in dark grey of my desktop). So sleep is not possible But external screen is OK so my laptop is still working perfectly ... but not usable as a laptop !

I tried a lot of things, including FixEdid to create a customized Edid in Overrides with different screen type (A5,B5) etc ..

I tried to inject EDID and/or Intel with clover too at boot, different config for HDMI in config.plist (but except the black screen at wake up it is working perfectly including external hdmi with audio in 4K)

I tried different values for darkwake too, different smbios type (14 and 15) ... Still no luck

All kext are in /L/E including whatevergreen and lilu

Afterthought : my problems looks like a ghost/frozen image in the video gfx after sleep, and not a black screen issue.*
The screen is washed out and greyed with an old pic of my gfx card ...
In this pic I saw a previous desktop (look at icons on the top right). Earlier tonight it was the apple boot logo

Some of your config's ACPI patches are not necessary (e.g. you don't have MEI, _QA8, ...). Check 'em one-by-one and remove the unnecessary. The same for fixes.

Yes ... I am trying everything possible including every patch right now
but from the beginning I had the problem without ACPI error or wrong patch

Yes I never read anything about that. It is really like a ghost greyed and frozen image from previous video memory....
My laptop is a quite recent model so may be there is something new in it ...

No USBInjectAll kext installed (neither USBPorts kext)
If you correctly injected USB, why in your ioreg there are HS03 & HS06 which they're not listed in your SSDT SF515 patch?

You may want to try as per post #3

No USB injection. USBInjectAll.kext not installed and your device is 9ded, you left "8086_9dxx" in UIAC

Same config prefs. Remove useless patches & fixes.
A lot of ACPI errors (twice methods)
Clean-up your clover folder, there're a lot useless files in many folders. Keep the clover folder as clean as you can...

In fact it is !
The gen_debug script is only tacking some files from the first SSD, and my laptop have two. I needed to copy preboot.log and acpi/patched to make gen_debug works but it still copy EFI files from not the boot SSD but the first SSD.

Attached is a zip file of the booted Clover. It has been cleaned.

But nothing changes even with your DSDT, still greyed ghosted frozen image after sleep ...
