Hey guys,

been running 10.9.4 for a while now on my hackintosh without any issues (never got around to updating to 10.9.5). Recently tried booting up my unit but it stayed at the Apple logo and spinning circle on the grey screen without successfully loading OS X. Since then, here's what I've tried:

- Restarting computer
- booting in verbose
- booting in single user
- booting while ignoring cache

Is there anywhere you guys suggest i go from here? Any boot flags I could try? I'm just looking for a place to start and figured the forums might have a suggestion or two. Thanks guys, you're all always helpful.

As for safe mode, oddly enough it's not allowing me to enter the boot flags manually at the boot loader. I'm able to press arrow-down on the keyboard to display certain options, but when I type -x on the keyboard, there's nothing on-screen that indicates it's receiving input. If I type it in anyways and press enter it doesn't seem to work. But that seems more like an issue with the boot loader now. I feel like this is going to be a bigger headache than previously anticipated.
