Thanks a ton for this build description. That helped me iron out the glitches I had after upgrading my machine from High Sierra to Mojave. Now it works even better than before. :)

Will this configuration work with Asrock Z370 Pro 4? Thanks!
not sure. most likely my config.plist will cause errors, so instead of coping mine, create your own
my config only contain:
layout 99 for applealc
inject intel=1
darkwake=8
macmini8,1 smbios
and hackintool patches

Hey bjgo can you provide/confirm your WiFi/BT setup? I recently completed an almost identical build as you, and everything works well except Bluetooth. Bluetooth is present and will connect, but the signal is very weak and the range is poor (about 5 feet). Just putting my hand in front the antennae causes the BT signal to break up. When I connect to my 2.4Ghz wifi band, the BT signal is even worse and breaks up constantly. When I turn Wi-fi off, BT will not connect at all.

More recently, BT will no longer turn off - the "Turn off Bluetooth" button in settings is greyed out.

My WF//BT card installed is the Broadcom BCM94352Z and the kexts installed as outlined in the guide here:https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/broadcom-wifi-bluetooth-guide.242423/

SMBIOS is set to Macmini 8,1. I believe I have the USB ports configured correctly - I'm using USBinjectall.kext and a have a custom SSDT patch that gives me 15 ports total - 6 usb2 + 4 usb3 + BT.

Any idea what is going on? Is this a macOS issue or a Hackintosh/kext issue or something with my home wifi?

Thanks.

I do not
usbinjectall is a "dirty" hack
all you need is hackintool patches for usb
I's much more easily compare to ssdt
I can confirm - bt work exactly as on real mac

as for weak signal - be sure antenna's connectors are attached to bt board and antennas have 90 degree between them, like \/

Mind sharing your Bluetooth card and kexts are you using, and maybe the firmware version of your BT controller? I have the Broadcom BCM94352Z Lenovo card. I think I might be getting some interference with my 2.4 GHz WiFi band.

>BCM94352Z
exactly same

>kexts
BrcmFirmwareRepo.kext
BrcmPatchRAM2.kext
AirportBrcmFixup

all in /Library/Extension
but be sure kexts are installed correctly. take a look into my guide: you should copy them into install folder, then "sudo cp" them into /Library/Extensions
then perform "sudo kextcache -i /"

Hi I have a little question, I have this build : asrock Z370m itx + I7 8700 + vega 56.
When I start my computer, the system will shutdown after 5/10 seconds to reboot normally and display the bios / clover and macos. I dont know why. It do as well when I reboot in mac os.
Maybe its normal and it come from the motherboard. So if it is I supose you have it as well. Could you tell me if you have this case.
Thx.

What is the power usage of this system? (For this moment I have an old Mac Mini late 2012, and it consumes 14 watts).
