I have a Probook 4530s and I have installed latest Mountain Lion (10.8.2). I followed the guide here (http://www.tonymacx86.com/hp-probook/77057-guide-installing-mountain-lion-hp-probook.html)
I basically completed the install till step 14 and got Ak/AF HDD issue. To install Multibeast, I tried to boot the Mac using Unibeast USB and got a gray screen. After trying several options, I was able to login using -f -F -x GraphicsEnabler=No.
I installed following from Probook installer (step 14):
- 10.8.2 kext
- 4730s Standard DSDT
- i3-2330M SSDT
- MacbookPro 8,2 System definition
- AHCI Patch
- AHCI 3rd part kext
- Graphic Glitch Fix
- EDID generator
- Fn Combo off
- Color profiles
- Sleep image fix
- Brightness 100%
- Show all files
- Trim enabler
Now, I installed Multibeast with basic options (EasyBeast and UserDSDT) and followed the steps as mentioned on the page referred by the guide. I was able to get the boot screen and then when I tried to boot ML, I got the gray screen again. I have tried -f, -F, GraphicsEnabler=No and everything leads to the gray screen after loading completes with apple logo. I then tried -x, and was able to boot with safe mode.
Now, I am not sure what I need to correct/change at this point. Any help?
