My 8 year old hackintosh, running Catalina with Intel 2600K and Vega 56 gets the job done in 16,2". Not too bad for a grand dad ?

My i7 7700, 32GB ram, RX560 LP did it about 20 seconds. I don't do video editing so this was more of a test to see if video acceleration was set up correctly. Here's a graph of GPU activity during the test.

BruceX= 103 sec

Looking forward to seeing the difference with an RX 560.

EDIT: with the RX 560= 24 sec

EDIT 2: with a stock low-end M1 Mac mini (and latest FCP 10.5.1)= 18 sec. Yikes.

With a first gen Ryzen 5 1600 and a RX580 I got 12 seconds

I think 5 years old R9 390X still rocks in macOS especially with i9-10850K.
With chronoX' calculate it's been exported in 10 sec

Hmm, 28s with Ryzen 3900x and RX 580. That's bad. Videoproc and VDACHECKER both says hardware acceleration is enabled.

i7-8086k rx5700xt smbios macpro7,1 i got 7 sec
