Thx for sharing. I have an idea to replace the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 4095 MB card on one comp with RX Vega 56. Seems that it will improve graphics a lot, plus makes possible to install Catalina. Stuck on High Sierra at the moment on that comp.

Can you let me know when you export or render with your 5700 how much GPU usage you're getting? I'm not getting anywhere near full usage on my Dual Vega 64 hack and wondering if that's due to me not using the iMacPro1.1 smbios

Kind of hard to tell but it seems it's almost at 100%

You can bring up activity monitor and click at the top GPU history :) Since bruce x is such a short test now with these fast GPU's you can just copy the test a bunch of times onto the same timeline, run it and see what you're gpu usage is at! I'm running a Dual Vega 64 setup right now but honestly would love to use just a single Radeon VII. I had lots of issues with it when I tried to use it on 10.4.6 but wondering if those issues have been ironed out in 10.5.1

Have you tried the iMac Pro SMBIOS? Does it make any difference in GPU usage? I've been thinking of a dual 64 setup VS a Radeon VII. Or maybe just adding a second smaller GPU to the radeon maybe. Just trying to decrease export times since I'm doing a lot of 4K RAW editing. Thoughts? Thanks!
