Man your inspire drone shots are clear as day wow..I built my hackintosh to edit my drone footage..using p4pro...I have a question tho.When u are doing the brucex 5k test..what are the usage % on the both of the Vegas...? Are they both being utilized to the same degree..or one is working harder than the other..

Hello I need everyone's Help. I tried BruceX on my Hackintosh (QuickSync is Enabled) with a Sapphire Pulse RX 570 4GB and the Render time comes close to 30 seconds. I've seen countless forums where people are getting times of under 20 seconds with the RX 570. I'm using Mac OS Mojave and Final Cut Pro 10.14.4. Can anyone point out what's the issue here for my slow render times?

I'm having the exact same issue with a 4770K build with a VEGA 56 giving slower than expected speeds. 35sec! I'm wondering if it has something to do with the iGPU utilisation of the 4770k. Was getting faster speeds before with dual 270x at 30sec. Problem is with the VEGA 56 I have to have iGPU enabled or FCPX crashes. I did a test with a RX580 and was getting 22se with iGPU disabled.

Try disabling iGPU and let me know your bruceX score.

Now on 10.14.3 and FCP 10.4.5 I am getting from 18 to 20 seconds...
Thats almost double the time

Same here. Something has changed. My test video went from 2:35-2:45 up to 3:50. Brucex went from 6.7-7.8 up to 9.6 or higher.

I am actually going back to a fresh 10.14.2 and not got it all set back up but fcpx is back to being fast again. I haven’t updated fcpx to 10.4.5 yet. I’m leaving it alone since it’s working good.
