so does a Vega 64 make sense in an old i7 3770k @ 4.6 GHz? from what I understand from your results it even looks like it would make sense... I am trying to decide if I should build a new system with an i9 9900k or at least an i7-9700k but then I need a new everything so by then I can only afford a rx 580 (or go on with my r9 280x)...or i spend 350,- Euro on a Vega 64 and keep my old system...not sure what makes more sense... Maybe if I could sell my old system for a good price I could build a complete new system...hmm

I sure did. i7-6700K clocked to 4.7. The 1080 Ti did it in 18.4. The Vega 64 single did it in 10.03. I don’t base everything on the Bruce X test. I have done several benchmarks. With all my MacBook Pros and both variations of Hackintosh. All these videos are on my YouTube.

Both running in fcpx I hardly even hear the fans. Once I got my fan settings correct using vegatab. Overall very happy with the i9 9900k and the dual Vegas. I originally figured it all would be a loud machine.

Hello I need everyone's Help. I tried BruceX on my Hackintosh (QuickSync is Enabled) with a Sapphire Pulse RX 570 4GB and the Render time comes close to 30 seconds. I've seen countless forums where people are getting times of under 20 seconds with the RX 570. I'm using Mac OS Mojave and Final Cut Pro 10.14.4. Can anyone point out what's the issue here for my slow render times?
