it was about 37 seconds with quick sync disabled (was still hoping an 8700k would get me to somewhere like 10-15 seconds, i dont get whats missing)

@nineniner An AMD card. FCPX is optimized for AMD cards.

as above, you'll do better with a radeon card even an older one like a 280 got me into the teens. 8 series mobo is also a bit older, what kind of speeds are you getting to that SSD with black magic disk test?

Hi everyone, I've got a small issue here, each time I lunch the BruceX export, My computer restart instantly... What does that suppose to mean? Power management issue? I never had this issue with other app.

I also I the arctifact issue during editing, this is very annoying (see in picture) do you have any idea what can I do?

Something is wrong with my build..

FCP v10.13.4

i7 6700k @4.8ghz Water-cooled

Samsung EVO 500GB M.2.

When my Hackintosh starts transcoding, my whole system becomes slow and unresponsive. I get artifacts while editing, and sometimes in the final product after sharing.

TOTAL TIME = 18.4 mins

I have quick sync enabled, as MacX video converter reports hardware encoding is enabled. I'm using the Shiki kext.
I'm not sure what else to try, this thing is so bad I edit on my MacBook pro 13" 2015.
