Motherboard
ASUS Prime Z390-A
CPU
i7-9700K
Graphics
UHD 630
Mac
  1. MacBook Pro
The build:

Gigabyte GA-H77-WIFI with F2 bios
dsdt.aml of this mobo off this site on desktop to enable audio over HDMI
i3-3225 with onboard HD4000
DVI connection to Dell 1080p Monitor

After Multibeast (With User DSDT/ALC892/RTL81**), upon rebooting, the Apple boot completes and I have a black screen

Pressing the power button sends the computer to sleep, and can be woken up, so it seems that its a graphics problem, rarher than a freeze.

Can anyone help with some advice?

I think I'll try without the DSDT, whilst on DVI.

Perhaps its expecting a HDMI connection after the DSDT has had at it?

I have a z77n-wifi with i7 3770k, so ymmv

If I rem: correctly , I have set the the prrocessor power state C1 to disabled in my bios. I can confirm this later when I get access to my machine.
I use Dual HDMI - DVI was flaky. Stuff just works fine Sleep/Resume etc. I did install the HD audio DSDT to get audio though.

Thanks for the tip...I'll give it a try.

This is getting to me...

I've tried an LG TV with HDMI...I get a picture, but it's not 1080p...it seems to be overscanning...I get a reasonable result if I set it to 1680 x 1050, but its not native for the TV.

Would that be a problem with the TV, or is it something I can fix on the Mac?
