Hello, I just installed macOS Sierra in an ASUS Maximus VIII Gene with a core i7 6700k and 16gb ddr4 RAM. After many unsuccessful attempts, showing the message "macOS could not be installed in your computer", I managed to install it. The problem is after I installed my GTX 750ti in my mobo, and I installed the corresponding Nvidia Web drivers, I restarted the computer, but nothing happened. The graphics card doesn't show up, and if I go to "about this mac", only 5mb of the 2048mb that the card has.

I'm more-or-less at the same point in my Skylake / ASUS Z170 / GTX 750Ti build. I am using the "new style" of enabling the NVidia drivers, but the card isn't being recognized, so it's in the super-slow flickery mode. Motherboard video was working okay (but with the known graphics glitches). I'll post here when I figure it out.

Thanks a lot. BTW, I've ordered a gtx 970 for this setup, so I'm using the 750ti until I recieve the 970. I suppose that won't affect anything. I mean, if it the Nvidia WebDriver manages to work with the 750ti, it will work with the 970, is that right?

If the GPU is showing only 5mb of RAM then you are injecting Intel graphics and this is likely to be the cause of your nvidia card not running correctly.

The Forum > Post Installation > Graphics section has some good links ( these are also given in the Sierra guide - right at the end.

In macOS the driver package is the same for all of the nvidia cards that nvidia support.

Got it working, using this tip:

"Problem 6: You select Nvidia Web Drivers in the menu bar or the Nvidia Driver Manager preference pane but when you restart OS X Default Graphics Driver is checked.
This is caused when your board does not have native NVRAM support such as Gigabyte 100 series boards."

from this page: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/solving-nvidia-driver-install-loading-problems.161256/

the tl;dr solution is to install Clover, selecting the Drivers64UEFI >> EmuVariableUefi-64

This worked on two different installations - one cross-grade, one fresh install.
