There's no generic way to control the brightness on a desktop system. Depending on your hardware setup it might work like that: https://github.com/Floris497/Backlight-DDC

Hi everyone.
Yesterday I just reinstalled OS X for a fresh start. After that I tried using smbios 17.1, I was previously using 14.2.
and I Just got fixed this issue. I was troubling a lot to boot with unibeast clover. But I'm using Asus z170 pro gaming not booting up. But its booting up with clover. Anyhow I just want u guys to know it got fixed
