Hello all again! I've searched the internet and all of these forum as best I can, but haven't found an answer. I'm preparing to buy a GPU that would fit inside of the G5 case while still letting the original acrylic cover close - the one that restricts airflow and let's you see inside the case without opening it up fully. Most of the GTX 970s I'm looking at wouldn't fit due to the fans being to big, but I have found EVGA's cards would work. Except the power cords!
Long story short, does anyone know if when using a GPU with the PCI-e cords from the PSU that the acrylic cover can still close? Thanks!
