Once I tested sleep again the monitor didn't even turn on this time. Do I need to delete com.apple.PowerManagment again?

read post #9, did you use my config.plist? leave com.apple.PowerManagment alone, that thing does not need to be removed or touched. it is just a saved settings of your "System Preferences -Energy Saver"

Alright I deleted those kexts, and replaced the config file with yours. Sorry I originally didn't see you posted a config file, lol. Still didn't work, the screen still has no signal.

No signal on boot or wake from sleep? run this and post screenshot:

pmset -g

also you may want to disable CSM in your BIOS Settings.

The problem happens when I wake from sleep, it also takes a while to finally go to sleep -- about a minute.

Run ‘kextstat | grep -v com.apple’ and post results

Also run

sudo kextcache -i /

Post results.
