Well, DSDTSE is in English, but most of their guides etc are in Spanish (and Italian if that works better) and as such, no-one here is able to edit DSDT files for anything but Gigabyte boards.

I think I'll get the same setup as you. Gigabyte GA-P55-UD4P, i5-750 CPU, 4GB DDR3 12800, 1TB WD HDD (Should I keep the SATA6G or use a SATA2?)

Well, my board is most likely not on sale any more, they've upgraded it to the P55A-UD4/UD4P of which either should work just fine. Both of those models have SATA 6Gbps and USB 3.0 if you want to dual boot into Windows, or of course hope for support from Apple in the future.

I think your hard drive should be just fine, no need to swap that.
