Thanks for confirming. So all you did was just change the Haswell CPU ID in Clover? I'll try a fresh 10.11 install later.

hi lokicat - how did you go about changing the CPUID? do you just use clover configurator? where do you type in this CPU ID exactly? can you please post a screen shot so that other people can see how to change the CPUID. I have a x99a mobo with i7-5820k and not sure if i need to do this step to get my system stable?
