Glitchy/jumpy mouse during IO load

The mouse appears to work just fine until I do something like copy large files over network, it then starts to jump and won't won't work in a smooth way - it's practically impossible to use and I have to wait for the transfer to complete before the mouse is usable again.

I'm using an Apple Magic Trackpad with a TDK Bluetooth receiver.

Any ideas?

Bizarre! - I have 2 wireless routers in the house, one downstairs and one upstairs - if I turn the one upstairs off, the problem is somewhat reduced.

What's even more bizzare is if the laptop transfers files using wireless, the PC about 3 meters away that doesn't use wireless experiences the glitchy mouse!!

Maybe the TDK bluetooth adapter is very susceptible to wireless interference.
