I have tried multiple things and nothing has worked. I am running 10.8 on ud5h with 3770k. Everything runs find when I install with unibeast but once I use multibeast things go wrong. Something is going on with my on-board graphics and 10.8 because I get "DSMOS has arrived". When I boot, the start-up screen comes in choppy and messed up, but I can fix that by unplugging the hdmi cord and then reinserting it.

Here is the multibeast settings I have used:

UserDSDT or DSDT-Free Installation
Drivers & Bootloaders
>Drivers
>>Audio
>>>Realtek ALC8xx
>>>>Without DSDT
>>>>>ALC898
Network
>maolj's AtherosLicEthernet

I used this to setup my bios:

I have done some research and think that buying a standalone graphics card should solve my problem. Is this a good card for my setup?

Thanks, as I am very new to this and pretty frustrated. If someone would like to help me through this process, I would be more than grateful.

Hi NOOO never give up! I had the same problem. Check what booting in Verbose mode does, I found the power pcu patch was the trick, oh actually, did you try mounting the drive onto another computer and loading multi beast? That seems to solve many boot issues for me. Im still having an issue with getting HD 4000 to run but I always boot (now) and the system is remarkably stable. I think Chimera does not work for me!

I have a GA z77x-ud5h and the onboard hd4000 is working fine. I did have trouble until I dropped the VGA and went to DVI.
