That should be different because, as far as I know there is no working iGPU on 500-series, not even with a supported 10th generation Core. So iMacPro1,1/MacPro7,1 should be better than iMac20 SMBIOS.

@Rikoshet Since this is a production system, it's a pity you didn't pick a Z490 Vision D or G: You'd have a fully working system, including Thunderbolt, based on a Golden Build. Z590 is still rough, and its Maple Ridge Thunderbolt is being actively investigated in another thread; I hope you don't need Thunderbolt for now.

Ohchang's build is a Z590 Vision G, so a slightly different board. The IM thread uses a custom DSDT, which would require studying the original DSDT in detail to understand the patches—basically, I fear this is not a maintainable EFI if you're not MaLd0n. I'm a bit wary of the mix of VirtualSMC and FakePCIID in the Github repository. So, @tsanko.dimitrov 's build would also be my favourite starting point for a clean OpenCore folder. Can you share the EFI or config.plist which caused the above error screen?
Can you share your current config.plist (minus serials)?

Later versions of BigSur have issues with the XHCI port limit patch and USB mapping. It would be best if you could first boot with Catalina (or an early version of Big Sur, 11.0 to 11.2), map USB ports there (the other threads show the HS/SS personalities but not the 0x## port numbers, which is what one really want to write a USB map) and then upgrade to 11.6. I'd be wary of jumping early to Monterey on a production system.

Edit Took the events of your long, long night into account.

Edit2 My bad. Z590 still allows for 10th generation iGPU to work headless—but not to drive displays. So an iMac20 SMBIOS should be the best fit.

Interesting comments from @dehjomz , who has a Z590 Vision D board with a 11th generation CPU.
Z590 costs more than its predecessor, but has a variety of issues, and in some ways is an experiential regression. This must be called out for what it is.
Also some more about BIOS issues. Which version are you using?
All I can say with the Z590 Vision D is that F5D is quite quirky as @xtreem.p has mentioned. But Ggigabyte is still working on some unreleased BIOSs that are more stable, including one that finally enables kernel DMA protection (in Windows) for Thunderbolt. Hopefully they post them soon.

F5 on the Z490 was very stable. But quality control at Gigabyte took a nosedive in December 2020, at least with respect to the f20 beta BIOSs. And the same seems to have bled over into Z590. Quite sad to see actually, given how rock solid f5 was. The TweakTown forums are filled with users that have a litany of complaints about various 2021 Gigabyte BIOSs, both on Intel and AMD.

I've always heard that early adopters have to struggle through growing pains, but I didn't expect this, given that Z490 and Z590 have the same socket... and Z490 was a pretty good experience, at least up until the f20 beta BIOSs. The release f20 BIOS is fine though.
But a kind conclusion:
It's a decent board in my view as well. Other than the Thunderbolt hot-plug thing, it works well.

Reference EFI for the Gigabyte Z590 Vision D:
@CODYQX4 has provided a fully configured EFI folder for Gigabyte Z590 Vision D. The EFI folder can be downloaded and installed with @Inqnuam’s HackinDROM App. The instructions for the app are located here (posts 1 and 3):
At this point in the Z490&Z590 thread there are a few users of the board. Support requests would probably best be posted there.

I think it's a few things. But the main issue may be is that maybe it's because my setup is set to spoof the Comet Lake CPUID coupled with the correct Comet Lake IGPU device-ids that it works. Also SMBIOS setting and the order of kext and ACPI loading is important. In case you didn't know my setup also works for High Sierra and Mojave, but to boot to those versions using Comet Lake or Rocket Lake requires spoofing the CPUID and device-id to Coffee Lake 9th gen.
After tweaking more and more I got a couple of different kernel panics, can you please take a look?

Hello.

Sorry, I might have missed it ...

Please clarify what GPU are you using for display output?

Edit Took the events of your long, long night into account.

Edit2 My bad. Z590 still allows for 10th generation iGPU to work headless—but not to drive displays. So an iMac20 SMBIOS should be the best fit.
Unfortunately I didn't have time to study the actual situation of working good motherboards, I just took a look into the Buyer's Guide and opted for a modern MB because I'm rarely upgrading hardware, my last pc (x99 MB) was build 6-7 years ago and it was fine till the MB died.
Another point in favour of z590 is that z490 are not available on amazon Italy anymore AND I found few guides before buying so I was pretty sure I'm ok.
Also I have to say that I'm working with braw codec that doesn't need extreme cpu like a 3d rendering application, but need a goof GPU for color grading.
iGPU in headless mode is ok, need to do it yet.
Thunderbolt is not needed yet but maybe the hot plug problem is solvable by inserting first a USB device in that port, need to check that but it worked in windows on another machine.
Would love to, not possible at this moment, really need to edit my videos but I got some kernel panics...

iGPU is disabled at this stage so using Radeon VII for now!
Thank you!

I'm on F5 now, F6 has only changes related to Intel PTT for Windows 11...

Sanitise your config.plist (redact the serial-number and UUID) then upload your EFI folder as a Zip archive, for us to check.
