Gigabyte Z490 Vision D (Thunderbolt 3) + i5-10400 + AMD RX 580

No Internal USB (= No Fenvi and No GC TB): Sleep like baby
Only Fenvi: Right after sleep, PC waked up
Only GC TB: Right after sleep, PC waked up

Looks like Internal USB ports have some issues. Do you have any suggestions?

Thank you!

Please try the attached V4 as follows:
  • Download the attached file and copy it into the EFI/OC/ACPI folder in EFI partition of macOS SSD
  • In ACPI --> Add section of config.plist:
    • Uncheck V3
    • Click + at bottom right to add new line
    • Add entry for SSDT-UIAC-VISION-G-V4.aml
    • Check it on
    • Save config.plist
  • It should then look like this:
Screen Shot 2021-10-11 at 3.52.55 PM.png

  • Shutdown
  • Connect either the Fenvi or GC-Titan Ridge to internal USB 2.0 header
  • Start up
  • Check sleep

Let's try this:
  • System Preferences --> Energy Saver --> Schedule...
  • Then click Sleep as shown and press OK
  • Don't worry -- this is just temporary
  • Then see if system sleeps and wakes
Couple other notes:
  • If you have Windows on this machine, avoid booting it at this time
    • Windows will upload its own Bluetooth firmware
    • Windows can also interfere with Thunderbolt
  • Perform a cold start (shutdown, flip power switch on PSU to OFF for 10 seconds, power back up)

If that does not work, then we'll need to try disabling wake-from-USB. Power button will wake computer instead. This can be done easily as follows:

  • Then reboot and check Sleep.

Hello,

Schedule sleep: didn’t works. Also found that my machine rebooted when waked up.

GPRW&patch: still sleep does not work. Right after it slept, it waked up.

Any suggestions? I can share EFI if you like to see.

That would be awesome if sleep works, but it is fine if it is too complicated. (Not a big deal)

Thank u. :)

Alas, I think that exhausts our options. It may be good to follow the Sleep Aid if you’re still inclined to address this problem.
