Hi
@CaseySJ. I am currently reading this whole thread (currently on page 30), and was wondering if you could provide support? I have a Vision G and cannot get my USB Mapping done correctly. I’m not sure what my issue is. It almost makes me want to return the G for the D just to use your EFI. I initially mapped out my USBs manually (following Dortania) and downloaded their sample usb map kext. I had errors so I redid it manually. Next errors I did the Buildmap.command app for intel. (That thing was a huge mess) More errors. I then redid it manually and finally I gave up and used your provided SSDT (putting in my own notes *only*), and when that failed I used the exact SSDT as is and that still failed. I’ve tried enabling all my 19 ports and trimming down to 15. Something always goes wonky. Currently I get 14 because SS10 is missing. RHUB made no difference.
I’m also having issues with HS02, which is an internal usb header in which I’ve connected my BCM94360CS2 card to. It’s keeping my machine from sleeping. Disconnecting it allows sleep to happen. I've noticed HS02 is a problem for other Vision G users.
I’ve been trying to get this build up and running for a week now and just can’t get past this issue. I think my USB mapping/HS02 preventing sleep is causing the issue. I also need to use USBFixWake.kext plus the SSDT to get sleep to instant wake with one press although its not currently in my EFI since I’m trying to fix port mapping. This is my second hack. I did USB mapping just fine my first time (Skylake build), and the Broadcom card was never an issue before.
Any insight?
