Please look at “device-id” in your screenshot. It is incorrect.

Fixing it may or may not solve the problem, but it needs to be fixed regardless.

In a working system, does it make the device-id 0x15f3880 as shown in the attachment?

I've got a Gigabyte Vision G Z490 with the Intel I225-V (rev 2) chip in it. I cannot get it to work in Monterey.

For someone with a Vision G Z490, I225MOD applied, Monterey 12.3 or higher, what driver does it show you are using? Would you be willing to share the IOreg info for the network adapter? Thanks!

I have GB Z490 Vision G motherboard running Monterey 12.4 and booting with OpenCore 0.8.0.
After flashing the modified i225 firmware i injected the following device properties :-

Using device-id F3150000 should make the i225-V device connect to :-

/System/Library/DriverExtensions/com.apple.DriverKit-AppleEthernetE1000.dext

Note: When injecting a device-id you should always pad the PID with '0000' not '8086'


Do not use any boot arguments and as detailed in the i225 mod firmware readme you must have AppleVTD loaded.

Network settings set at default / automatic ... for me this works perfectly ..

Which version of BIOS (not Thunderbolt firmware) is currently installed on your motherboard?

Latest BIOS from Gigabyte which is F21.

It is impossible to downgrade from this BIOS, too -

'Customers will NOT be able to reverse to previous BIOS version due to major vulnerabilities concerns.'

So strange, in Big Sur 11.6.6 - no boot arguments, it loads the next and everything works correctly.
Monterey 12.3.1 - it doesn't work. I'm going to re-install Monterey and see if that makes a difference.

It nice to see fix for Intel i225-V, I just removed Fenvi FV-T919 to try original on board WiFi/BT, so WiFi work great, but Bluetooth is weak, the wireless keyboard connected and seems to be working fine, but unfortunately at a distance not longer than 1.5m from the PC. Also, I can't properly to connect my Magic Mouse I need your advice.

Hi,
For me keeping VT-d enabled in BIOS (F5) with or without AppleVTD active in OpenCore makes VirtualBox not booting VMs. (working fine with Vmware Fusion and VT-d)
As i saw that VirtualBox is working for some here with VT-d, i was asking myself if it could maybe be related to my BIOS version (F5)?

Thanks, @CaseySJ. My bad, I didn't read it properly. I decided install the Fenvi FV-T919 again as it's still definitive better option for now.

Another question, I use 'OC-078-Intel-Wireless-VISION-D' with OpenCore 0.8.1. I'm getting the annoying messages before arriving to the bootpicker. What is the easiest way to remove it?
