I'll add the OpenIntelWireless version soon to the same post.

Update: Done.
What about the Laird BT-851 that doesn't seem to need the firmware upload on power-up? I originally bought it from Digi-Key because it was reported to be the most universal BT dongle with support for BT 5.0.

Have you tried the new OpenCore 0.7.5 EFI? I've enabled this for Monterey only, but can do so for Big Sur as well if there's a need.

Installed 0.7.5, and still no go on 12.0.1. Is there another step, or a pref file I need to purge?

Was this working in Big Sur, but broke in Monterey?

I just tried it in Monterey and sure enough there are signs of life, but devices do not actually connect.

It worked perfectly in Big Sur. In Monterey it's impossible to turn BT on. Nothing happens. I do believe 0.7.5 allowed the Laird to appear in System Profile:USB though. Wondering if the native BT module needs to be disabled some way before the Laird can replace it?

Hi All,

Since I upgraded to Monterey 12.01, I have developed a sleep problem which I never had before. The first time the system goes to sleep, either automatically or manually, it works fine and can sleep for hours. The second time the system goes to sleep, it reboots on wake-up. I've tried CpuTscSync.kext to no avail. Using OpenCore 0.7.4.

If you're not using most of the Handoff/Continuity features with Laird BT851, then an alternative is to try the on-board Intel WiFi/BT. Hopefully a future version of BrcmPatchRAM will address this problem.
