Public Beta 7 is not currently showing up in my Software Update. Is it the same for you?

I've had SIP enabled for some time (i.e. set to 00000000) and Public Beta 7 just showed up minutes ago!

I meant the public beta #7 of Monterey that was released yesterday. I’m having trouble updating from beta6.

Not clear if it's a bug in the updater, opencore, or if Apple is starting to lock down macOS. There's a thread on Acidanthera's github about Apple detecting opencore NVRAM variables and setting the mac model to unknown. See: https://github.com/acidanthera/bugtracker/issues/1769#issuecomment-914203182.

But Apple just released the standalone installer package for Beta7, I'm going to try that and see if it works.

Success here as well. The solution for Beta7 is to update to the latest commit (https://github.com/acidanthera/OpenCorePkg/commit/1cb8490fd60f6b5f983d42e5bbf08e3d2d43d8f6) of OpenCore 0.7.4 beta. I ensured PlatformInfo->Generic->AdviseFeatures is set to True. I compiled opencore myself using Big Sur as the OC builder isn't working for me on Monterey.

I am not certain if AdviseFeatures need to be enabled. The update may work without this flag, but I didn't test with it off.
