Just about to test this - It renamed the EFI partition of my SanDisk Flash drive. Is that supposed to happen? It is now called "EFI-USB-908"

Yes that's correct. It's a very good feature because too many applications cannot differentiate between multiple "EFI" partitions if we mount two or more at the same time.

Thanks for the fast reply. So the CPU ID does not matter which CPU I have, i5-11600K or i7-11700K?

I ask because I see on some i9-11900K EFI folders on the Internet that almost all of them have different numbers there at OpenCore Configurator where you highlighted here above.

We're currently using CPU ID 0806EB, which belongs to the mobile Intel i5-8265U. This is less than ideal. We can, however, go to this website and try different CPU IDs.

Because macOS recognizes the i7-9700K, we can also try 0906EC, but it needs to be entered in reverse byte order: EC060900

The website allows you to select any Intel CPU up to 9th gen. Other sites should have 10th gen CPU IDs.

Just wanted to point out that the current OpenCore Configurator 2.33.1.0 does not play nice with the new EFI provided by @CaseySJ . I get the following error upon rebooting: OCTY: Failed to locate apple event protocol - Not Found Halting on critical error.

I found on line 976 that OpenCore Configurator was changing the line from <string>Builtin</string> to <string>OEM</string>. Once changing the file back to <string>Builtin</string> everything works correctly...

If you unmount the EFI partition HackinDROM rename it back to "EFI" automatically

Hi,
I'm trying the HackinDROM app but the menu is not showing (tried earlier the 1.1.4 version also).
I can't quit it or see the menu...
Nothing is showing also on first launch in System Preferences --> Security & Privacy --> General.
Tried to give it full drive access in: System Preferences --> Security & Privacy.
But no luck, any idea?
