So after a bad bios update I had to replace my motherboard and decided to get a cheaper newer model. One of the first issues I noticed most of the usb3 ports are running at usb2 speed. Even my Alpine Ridge Thunderbold 3 card is operating at usb2 speed. Any help would be grateful.

Tried that and it didn't work. What did work was just adding the kext patch. Afterwards my ports are back to usb3 data transfer speeds.
