I managed to get nvram appear in 0.8.1 boot screen with the above guide. Thanks. It didn't fix the problem, but removing the Sleepwake log fixed it!

issue happened to me a few months back :)

Wow!

That's really good to hear....I guess that's my evening decided then...!

I'll feedback when I've tried it.

What I really want to do is update my Big Sur install to Monterey...I wonder will 0.8.1 still work then. It looks like 0.8.1 has a problem with big Sur.

Btw, I know Pastry chef told me to forget about the Serialinit Debug line.... Did you get that error too and did you just delete that line from the config.plist file?

Anyone else have problems with OC 0.8.0 on a big Sur install?
I did get the error line "OCS: No schema for SerialInit at 5 index, context <Degug>".
That was fixed by removing the SerialInit entry in the .plist file.

Yeah, I did the same. I've now updated my main Big Sur install to Monterey and all is working well.

Not really. Most of the time, that sort of stuff shouldn't affect performance. Performance is more dependent on your hardware and BIOS settings.
Another strange one here. The USB-C ports on my Z390 designare used to work fine, but I got a message about power consumption and I think OSX turned them off and now nothing. I tried restarts, but no succes. Do you recognise this? Any suggestions?

I never saw this. The only thing I can suggest is to double check your port mapping.

Make sure you update to a BIOS version that allows you to disable CFG Lock and disable it as per post #1.

Add your own Serial, Board Serial, and UUID to the config.plist in the EFI below.
Hey pastrychef!

I've updated my build with SAPPHIRE NITRO+ Radeon RX 580 8GB GDDR5 SE (Blue). Works good, Monitor connected via DP - miniDP, after-sleep works fine now. But sleep does not work, can't find out why. Going down and wakes immediately.

Last time I've turned off BT and connect to another iPhone (not my), open Safari - loading pages for about 10 sec and system freeze.
Before it I've run geekbench test for CPU and GPU - perfect, 5577 for CPU, 37359 for OpenCL and 33566 for Metal.
Wi-fi + BT is PCI-E Fenvi FV-HB1200 BCM94360CS2. Working good, Magic Mouse, AirDrop, Handoff.

I don't notice any obvious problems... Is the system stable when running Windows and/or Linux?
