@pastrychef

I thought you were using a PS/2 keyboard and mouse?

Does your BT mouse function normally during BIOS and Opencore Picker?

I use a PS/2 keyboard. A Dell AT101 (aka Bigfoot) with Alps mechanical switches.

This is a photo of it right after I did a complete cleaning and replaced most of the keycaps.

I just tested my Bluetooth mouse and trackpad in BIOS and they didn't work... I could have sworn, they worked the last time I tried...

I've never configured the OpenCore Boot Picker to work with mice or trackpads.

I just found an issue with Monterey... After wake from sleep, my Magic Mouse 2 and Magic Trackpad are not working.

I'll continue to investigate.

Update:
The Bluetooth devices seem to eventually reconnect on its own but it took a very long time.

Update 2:
Disabling and re-enabling Bluetooth works.

Update 3:
Figured it out. It turns out the fix to make the system wake with just one mouse click was the cause of the problem. Disable SSDT-USBW.aml and USBWakeFixup.kext.

@tedyun

After clearing NVRAM, my Magic Mouse 2 works in BIOS again.

I remember I had a similar issue with one of the OpenCore updates in Big Sur. I didn't have time to nail it down, so I just went back to the previous version of OpenCore, and it was fine. By the next update, all was good.

What I remember was that, with my Fenvi card, the Wi-Fi was still functional, and my Apple Watch still was connected through BT, but my keyboard and Magic Mouse 2 were not. Thanks for the heads up though.

Hello team and hello to pastrychef, my motherboard slammed well and suddenly to find a motherboard with an LGA 1151 socket not easy, I was able to buy an ASUS TUF Z390-PLUS GAMING (WI-FI), the configuration will I pass or will I have to redo the entire installation for Big Sur? and can I take the same tutorial as here or is it completely different?

thanks for the work and the reply

Hi, I tried the update to Monterey with Clover 5141. It started but but it does not finish and it remains to be Big Sur at the end. I have another installation partition left with no use.

Any idea?

Does anybody made it happen to upgrade with Clover installed?

Thx!

Most things should work. You will definitely need to create your own USB ports kext for that motherboard.
