Gigabyte Z390 M Gaming build with working NVRAM

@pastrychef - have you updated your Z390 rig to the latest Big Sur (version ending in "g" that came out last week)? My update was working fine until yesterday, and now it doesn't automatically go to sleep. I can command it to sleep just fine. I've reset the NVRAM, CMOS, pared down my config.plist, but I haven't nailed down the cause.

Very strange....

No. I have not bothered to try yet... I'll probably have some time tomorrow and I'll give it a shot.

yeah, of course !

Is very strange.. Now I have f9j, maybe this version is bugged for upgrade, tomorrow I test downgrade bios for upgrade

You can try force booting in to the backup BIOS then update to F9l.

"Address Book Source Sync" is your problem.

Please try logging out of iCloud and then log back in.

I logged out of iCloud and I don't have that Address Book Source Sync. But it still doesn't sleep.

Do you know what the IODisplayWrangler is?

I found what that is, and it is normal when the Display is active.

It's OK, it's not that big of a deal -- maybe it will get fixed in the next Big Sur update.

Edit: It started sleeping again! The only thing I did was to sign back into iCloud, which is what you told me to do in the first place, but I just forgot to do that second part!

Thanks PC. The Hackintosh community is lucky to have you!
