I have my 3rd build up and running and it has the Z390 chipset, and it has the THB_C (Thunderbolt Add-in Card Connector) for the Gigabyte GC-Titan Ridge card. I have installed it on a my running system which has been updated to 10.14.3. Although I have 4 PCI devices, they do not show up in About This MAC, System Report, PCI, which is very annoying.

I loaded up MS Windows 10 and the card works fine in MS. Yet it is invisible in 10.14.3, I have a TAB in the Bios that is this card, but no combination so far has made it available. The card has 2 each PCI power connections, one THB_C 5 pin connector, and a USB 9 pin connector, all are connected on this system. Currently BIOS is set to power once.

Attached are my configs. I think Thunderbolt is a needed connection, which is why I am asking for help.

hi @MACAK did you get Thunderbolt working ?

Thank you @CaseySJ but the card only has 2 x PCIE4 slots?

The AORUS Pro WiFi has 3 long slots as follows:
  • Top one = x16
  • Middle one = x8 (if used, then top one also becomes x8)
  • Bottom one = x4
You can install the Titan Ridge card into any of these slots then simply do this:
  • Download IORegistryExplorer
  • Select File --> Save As... and upload the file
This will tell me if the Thunderbolt SSDT needs to be modified.

@CaseySJ Thanks a lot.. I have put the Titan Ridge in the one below.
Connected header to THB_C and the F_USB1

Please check my IOReg .
